A preventive approach to making youths achieve/fulfill their potential in STEM, Arts, Culture, Human Rights, Media & Mental Health Awareness
International Development Week (IDW) is an annual event in Canada created to raise awareness about global development and encourage Canadians to get involved in creating a better world.
This year, Black Business and Professional Network (BBPN Inc.) New Brunswick is organizing this event in collaboration with the Atlantic Canada International Cooperation (ACIC) and the Government of Atlantic Canada (GAC) to empower youth in Atlantic Canada to make a difference in the world.
The event will bring together people in New Brunswick and across Atlantic Canada to learn about global issues, share their ideas and perspectives, and participate in workshops and activities to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to make a positive impact. The focus will be on issues such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and sustainable development, and how young people can take action to address these challenges.
The event will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions with experts and practitioners in the field of international development -STEM, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights & Advocacy, Mental Health, Arts & Culture, and Media Communications, as well as opportunities for networking and collaboration with like-minded individuals and organizations.
The Go for Goals event is an important opportunity for young people in Atlantic Canada to engage with global issues and to develop the skills, knowledge, and networks they need to make a difference in the world. Whether through volunteering, advocacy, or other forms of activism, this event will inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and changemakers.
