As we mark Labor Day this year, BBPN Inc. proudly reflects on four years of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to our mission. What began as a modest gathering at a Black History Society event, where notable leaders from PRUDE and the Premier Delegate came together to celebrate Labor Day, has since blossomed into a vibrant platform advocating for the excellence and dignity of labor among Black professionals and businesspeople.
Four years ago, a few members of the Black community recognized the need for an organization that would uplift, showcase, and support the incredible talents and contributions of Black professionals. From that vision, BBPN Inc. was born.
Today, we stand with immense gratitude for our journey together. Though our progress has been steady and measured, our commitment to service remains steadfast. We owe an outstanding debt of thanks to our co-founders, volunteers, and supporters who have labored selflessly, contributing in kind, cash, donations, and referrals.
As we enter a new phase of leadership and structure, we extend an invitation to you all to join us in leading with empathy, vision, and a renewed commitment to advocacy. Together, we will continue to celebrate the dignity in the labor of Black professionals, businesses, and youth who, despite the daily odds and challenges, continue to give back, create impact, and lay down a legacy for others to follow.
Let us march forward with the same spirit of service and dedication that has brought us this far. We are building a future where the labor and excellence of our community are recognized, celebrated, and passed on to future generations.
